Okay well when I was younger, I read this book.
I remember lots of things about it, but not the title.
it was a series, & i read a book further on in the series.
so i'll tell you everything i remember about it.
- in the previous book, i'm assuming there had been a huge battle, & that the main character lost her memory.
-the main characters name is kira.
-now , wheres the book starts is that kira is working in some sort of mine, & i don't think she remembers who she really is.
-she starts receiving these items that help her remember, i think .
- she decided to break out, & then these two people who were looking for her helps her.
-they bring her to a village in a dessert, i think .
-i think at one part theres a fight with these sand monsters.
- i know at one point theres alchemy involved,
- theres also dragons involved at the end of the book.
- ouh & i think in other points, she had looong hair, but it got cut VERY short.
- and like , at the very first pages, it shows sketches of the characters.
i think that's pretty much all i can remember.
hopefully someone has read this book,
& can tell me what it is.
if i remember anything else, i'll add it.

it is neither.
i did think it was maybe shadow of the dragon, or whatever you said, but it's too new. i read this many years ago
& from what i remember, there was a duel between dragons at the end of the book. that's really the only time i remember there being dragons.
it's not dragon orb.
the girls name isn't even Kira.
& the book isn't all about dragons.
from what i remember, the dragons only have a minor role

& if i remembered the author, i wouldn't be on yahoo answers.
