Whats In A Year Book & How Do You Make One?

I saw these in movies/series in America and surgested to my IT teacher that we could make one ourselfs. She was pleased with the idea and thinking about intreducing it into her IT lessons. So I decided to do a little research into what goes into a Year Book. What are the contents of a Year book? And how could we make one?
 
I did a year book for my last year of school and it went down really well. About two weeks before we handed them out we gave questionaires to everyone with questions like:

Describe yourself in five words:
What will you famous for inventing in ten years time?
What advice do you have for new students?
etc.

Then we gave each person a page in the book with their answers and a photo of themselves which we pulled off of facebook, bebo, etc. We left space at the bottom of each page for signatures.

Then we put in a poem about studying and the future. We collected stupid things people had said and made a "wisdom of sixth form" section and we even got some teacher quotes in there as well. Our history teacher once asked us "What would you do if you had to live as a marshmellow?"

We also did 10 things to know about surviving sixth form that linked to us. Like playing WOW isn't an excuse for late homework and any man that falls behind in snowball fights is left behind.

We got a letter from the head of sixth form wishing us all luck in the future.

And finally we broke up the sections with photo collages of everything done in school. So pictures of prom, rag week and trips.

Once I had compiled everything I printed out one copy and then used the photocopier (after asking permission) printed everyone a copy. They were so popular we had to photocopy more for the tutors and other teachers!

No matter what you put into it your year book will work as long as it covers all the things you have done, is funny, original and most of all doesn't forget anyone!

We did this in my last year of shcool.

Everyone got their picture taken and you could write a little bit bout yourself at the side or a little quote etc that summed you up. pretty much anything.

We also had pictures from our dances, prom, nights out etc,

We had picturtes taken around the school with us being silly,

We had teachers, quizzes, etc

Its just about your YEAR at school.
