Whats going on with the verizon phones with the cell one phones?

I will txt my boyfriend and he will keep sending me messages saying (NAME)!!!!!!! He cant get my texts at all.....and one of my friends tried texting his girlfriend which he is verizon and hers is cell one and she cant get his either........

i have verizon so does my friend
and our boyfriend and girlfriend have cell one



please tell me whats going on....please
