Whats better? A mitsubishi Lancer year 2010 or a mazda 3?

I want to buy a new car (In Australia) and Im tossing up between a Lancer (yr2008-2010), a Holden Cruze (2010) or a Mazda 2 or 3 (yr 2008-2010) Not sure what I should choose? Dont want to spend over $27,00-$30,000?
