...hippie.wuld i like it here? well my mother and i are planning to attend city college of sf in the fall. We're looking for a safe yet vibrant community outside of sf which is more affordable..than sanfran, ofcourse. Mom keeps saying Berkeley! But i'd like to get as much info as possible! We're coming from modesto,ca which is prone to gang violence and close minded ppl(yuck). We're complete opposite!Free spirits, if you will. I also have a 9 year old brother so good schools would be great! Overall i need suggestions and opinions from locals
