I want to join the army and it seems like a smart decision for the future that I want: money right now to save up and get what I want, loans for college repaid, and future money for college. What I am worried about is I have heard army life SUCKS. That living in the barracks is basically hell, and for me it might especially be since I really value my privacy. I am tough and can handle being in the army, but what about the rest or your life? is being in the army really that bad? I don't want to get myself into something I will hate. Please help!
Yeah, I've been told to consider my options but I think the army is the most simple and I just want to do it, and have it done. Really I want to do it for the future, and everything, and maybe that's a bad attitude, but that's the way it is. I just don't want it to suck. And I really do want to serve my country. I just don't care that much about having a high tech job, or skills. I just want to get the money. So will the army totally suck?
