What's an issue that the current presedential candidates are discussing? ?

Iraq, Obama wants a timetable for withdrawal, McCain does not. Oil, Obama wants an alternative fuel source, McCain wants offshore drilling for our immediate relief and an alternative fuel source. Iran, both have relatively the same thoughts and that is Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.

I have not heard issues discussed. I don't think I can tolerate hearing about Mcwars experiences in captivity anymore.

Answer: Today's hottest question of course is the government takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Both candidates agree that it was in the national interest for the government to take those lenders over and save us from worse economic problems.

Another hot issue for today: Should the Bush Tax Cuts be rescinded.Until today, Obama was saying that he would indeed rescind them. McCain has held the position that in the middle of a recession, one does not raise taxes. Obama concluded today that McCain was right.

Experience! If I hear that word one more time I'm likely to put my hand in a blender just to drain out the sound of it.

~ Iraq
~ Healthcare
~ Education
~ The Economy

Pick one!! Go on each of their websites and click on "issues" and it states exactly their stand on all the issues.

AND...it's PRESIDENTIAL candidate...not presedential.

they are only taking jabs at each other, that way they do not need to talk about "issues".

Palin Promises to increase altermative recouces to energy JUST like she has in alaska.

Foreign policy and experience... i can only elaborate on experience tho... McCain thinks that Obabma doesnt have enough experience to be president, but Obama can now argue that McCain's vice president choice doesnt have very much experience either.

I haven't really heard either of them talk about a real issue at all. Most of what they talk about are non-issues of no importance.

Barack Obama is discussing several issues. They include, but are not limited to the following: Ending the war in Iraq, the economy, Housing that is affordable for all Americans, education for all Americans, etc. I don't know of any issues John McCain is discussing. He seems to be too busy hiding Cindy's tax returns!

Taxes;
Obama will raise them no matter what he says. He'll have to, to pay for all of his new programs (hand outs) he is proposing.
McCain will lower taxes because he believes people should be able to spend their own money....not the government.

Energy:
Obama does not want to drill domestically. He thinks you should inflate your car's tires and our energy problem will go away.
McCain wants to be all inclusive. Drill here, drill now as well as conservation, natural gas, geothermal, solar, wind etc.

Sarah Palin is discussing how she's a hockey mom which she says means she's a pitbull with lipstick. I'm not sure where she and McCain stand on any issues though because they don't discuss issues because they're scared voters might realize their stances are the same as Bush's.

Barack Obama wants to lower taxes on the 95% of Americans who make less than $250K per year.

Obama is discussing education, the economy, global warming, energy independence, etc.

The Republicans are discussing how Obama is uppity.
