whats an exercise routine for someone with arthritis?

my knees are piping my Back is aking and I am only 26. my doctors ahave told me I have arthritis but I think I can put this process in revers. so what do I do with out breaking a hip...lol

p.s. I really need to be more physically active I'm just more mentally stimulated easier.
 
Yoga is an excellent way to stretch lower spinal muscles, increasing flexibility and helping firm up the erector spinae ( spinal stabilizer muscles ) . You can also do planks to make your core stronger and you won't have any lower back problems like doing crunches can. I have vertebral stenosis, arthritis and two bulging discs with another one that is protruding. I had a double hemi-laminectomy ( they removed bone from the inside of two vertebra next to my spinal column ) on Feb 5th and I'm already back to my regular 6 days a week routines, including an hour a day 5 days a week on an elliptical.BTW I'm 51 and working toward my certified personal trainer credentials.
