What's a suitable protein supplement for my situation?

Age: 19
Weight: 130
Height: 5' 7
Goal: Weight gaining to 160, don't mind any fat, working on arms mostly.

I'm busy from 12 PM to 5 PM. My diet isn't that great. I'd say it's high on carbohydrates and vegetables, but little on the fruit and protein.

I'm a little tight on the budget, but can work things out if possible.

So what protein supplement would be good for me? Casein? Whey? What brand name? I heard the crappy brands have a bunch of additives in them and will just get you fat, but in my case, I don't think I would mind lol
