What's a lounge restaurant?

I'm planning a sweet 16th, and I've googled some restaurants, and there are a few lounge restaurants. Now I've never been to them, and I don't know what they serve or what the atmosphere is like.

Any ideas?

A lounge restaurant is a restaurant that also has a bar, or lounge that serves liquor. For a sweet 16 party you should probably stick with other types of restaurants - unless the lounge restaurant has a TOTALLY separate room for you to hold your party in & an adult chaperone stays outside in the lounge area to ensure no minors get served liquor.
