Whats a good phone with Chat style messaging?

I mean like, you go to text and you see names, select the sames and see the texts that were sent back and fourth. None of the ye olde style regular email stuff.

I have verizon, and i'm planning to buy without a contract. so i'm looking for something relatively cheap outside of verizon stores
