MOMMY TO BE
New member
I'm 24 years old, married and have my first baby one the way. We wouldn't be moving until after the baby is born and at least about 3 months old. I currently live in Chicago and we're interested in moving south for a better climate and for a change of pace/scenery. We want to live somewhere affordable probably no more than $750-800 per month with businesses like restaurants, shopping, etc nearby. We would both be looking for work. I'm currently doing administrative work and have a Bachelor's Degree in Arts Management - Fashion Merchandising. My husband has a degree in Web Design.
I have family that wants us to move down to Fort Myers, FL but I visited and to me it was just "OK" a little too country and didn't seem like a lot of career opportunities and I'm thinking from what I heard Atlanta may have more of a city feel to it than Fort Myers, being that we're coming from the fast pace of Chicago. But I'm not familiar with the neighborhoods. Any suggestions on neighborhoods that might fit what we're looking for? I'm also considering getting a Master's Degree so somewhere with a University nearby would be nice also.
