What's a good first car to get?

I'm sixteen and my parent's are going to get me a car around june of this year. it's going to be my first car and i was wondering about what kind of car to get. it has to be around or under 10 grand and nothing that will have a high insurance cost (like no acura rsx :/ ) if it helps, i preferably want a two door car and i live in oregon. thanks for all your help! or if you can give me good websites or tips that'll be appreciated
