What's a good drawing tablet?

My dad loves to draw, & has recently started doing some drawing through paint on the computer. I thought for Christmas this year, he would like a drawing tablet for the computer. I would like one that comes with a bundle of programs, & is not too expensive. I don't want too big of one, maybe a 4x5 or something. He just does it as a hobby, nothing too extraordinary, so it doesn't need to be one with too many features.
