im 13 years old and about 5 feet and im looking for a good bmx but a cheep one, my friends say a DK would be a good bike, but i want other suggestions

dk, free agent, 2 hip, we the people, stolen, fit, eastern, gt, se, for like everything but racing, if you get a bike, you should get one that's full chromoly, instead of just the top tube or something, because chromoly is a better material than high tensile steel for bikes. if you want a race bike, se, dk, free agent, supercross, ghp, intense, mcs.

three piece cranks are better than one piece. and if you plan on doing alot of harsh riding, then i recommend triple wall rims, which are much stronger than double walled rims.

haro is a mediocre bike, even though they are quite popular, but there are much better brands out there, like the ones listed above.

i dont think i would go with a dk
you could get a pretty nice fit for 300
look on danscomp.com

i had a mongoose back in the day they were awsome,,,, haro is realy the best choice thow

DK is good.

I used to BMX and I had a DK GENERAL LEE and it was really good.

Pretty reasonably priced too?

it depends on what you want and what your style is. do u want a trail/dirt bmx bike, a street and park bike or a flatland bike? go to local bike dealer they can give the whole low down. but basicly haro, dk, eastern, and hoffman are very good bikes.

Well, you definately shouldn't go for a Haro, GT, Diamondback or Mongoose. What you SHOULD go for, as your friend said, is a DK i have one it takes A LOT of abuse. Also you might want to consider getting a Fit, WeThePeople, Eastern or a MirraCo which i also had.
