It's an essay on a novel, Don't Call Me Ishmael. Pretty easy book but I need a good angle to start my essay on. The book is about a kid who gets bullied by this other kid. Then this nerd comes to their school and the bully wanted to beat the sh*t out of him but the nerd used the power of language or something like that and scared him off. Later he started a debating team which Ishmael (the main character) was forced to join and yeah... Some of the things I could write the essay about are: bullying, self-esteem and self-image, acceptance of individuality, the importance of friends and family etc. I'm thinking about basing it on 'acceptance of individuality' but it would help if I could get a few tips on how to make the essay really good.
