...table? I'm doing some exercises for a databases and algorithms class. It's all very basic stuff, but one of the questions gives me psudo-code, and then asks me to do a 'dry run' in a word document and return a variable table...... what does that even mean? there's an example, but her example uses very simple psudo-code ( with only one variable ) so her example 'table' is just a number with a box around it.
I understand what the psudo-code does, and I know what it'll output, but what is a 'dry run', and how should a 'variable table' look?
I tried emailing the lecturer but she hasn't replied yet, and I don't really want to leave out this question purely because of vague instructions. help?
