What's a book that has a character confronting a specific situation?

This is for a wide reading english task.
the specific situation could be either, school, evil, guys & etc

please help. nothing hard, im in year 8
 
I did Diary Of Anne Frank back in year eight..

Chinese Cinderella and Looking For Alibrandi are easy book to read (I studied them in year nine though)

In Chinese Cinderella, the protagonist's main hurdle is her family and there are many many situations that are confronting, . Same goes with LFA, the protagonist has to dealth with family issues (and social)
