In my sci and tech class we are going to be competing in a spaghetti bridge contest . The rules are it has to be the lightest but hold the most for longest ( 1kg i think starting ) , and then it has the height and width requirements . My group is stuck between dong a truss bridge or an arch ridge .We will have about 8 days to build it so that has to be a factor too , but which one would be stronger ?
What's a better structure for a spaghetti bridge truss or arch ?
