fantasy/romance/adventure retell of the story)? I'm writing a new story based on the folktale "Stone Soup". So I was wondering what's a better title than just "Stone Soup".
Because when you think about it, the title's really lame and doesn't seem like it can bring a lot of attention :P
So like for "The 12 Dancing Princesses" or whatever, it was retitled by an author "Princess of the Midnight Ball", 'cause you know, they go dance in this other fabulous world.
So my story's going to be about this girl back in the 1800's or so who lives in this village. So one day, these 2 men come (like they do every 5 years) and ask/beg for food (again). And when Elizabeth (the girl) gives the uber hot other guy a celery, their fates are instantly woven together.
So the reason why these 2 strangers ask for food is because they're actually part of a bigger family who's related to Gustav Petroway who made a pact with a dragon (like I said, this is all fantasy) and in return, the dragon made him bring it food (like, loooooooooooots of food). Or a human sacarfise. And if he and his descendents don't, then he'll (the dragon) will destroy them all and other tretcherous things.
And so Elizabeth gets sucked into this and, well, yeaaaah.
So I reaaally want a better title than just "Stone Soup". :P Remember, it's fantasy/romance/adventure. So help please? >u<
