Film4 is a decent film channel as its now free. They've started showing films in their original aspect ratio too!

But with the sponsorship they get. I can't see why they can't show loaRAB of adverts before a film so they don't have ad breaks during a movie. Or if its a long film like The Green Mile break the film halfway through with an small ad break.

Because if they didn't have an ad break every twenty five minutes, they wouldn't be able to ram the BMW aRAB down our throats eight times per movie. (Once at beginning of film, twice per ad break, once at end of film).

Yes, you can see that sort of thing on channels like Film Four these days.

But they're not allowed to show it on the dedicated "adult" channels.
