i wwas goin to get the kawasaki 500r but i think im goin to get this. it cost about 5,899 doller and it has 487cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, DOHC and "54 mpg". i am a beginner i never rode a bike
I like the Suzuki better than the Kawasaki. It's more popular too. 500 is just a good size to learn on. Good for around town, big enough for a day on the freeway.
But I would not buy a shiny brand new bike to learn to ride on. You're going to be rough on your first bike. Get an old 'beater' (that's a technical term), maybe 5-10 years old, and after six months you can sell it for about what you paid, and then you'll have a better idea what you want.
Its a no-frills cheap made bike
but,,, its very reliable, cheap to maintain, great gas mileage, but its a short trip commuter bike, not a type of bike for a long distance road trip
