What years of engines will fit in my 2000 Chrysler 300M ?

i Recently blew a rod in my 2000 Chrysler 300m and i was wondering if the 2000 is the only engine that is compatiable

2.7L, 3.2L, 3.5L. dont get the 2.7L. junk engine.

There is a difference in the sensors and electronics in the 2002 and later 3.5L engines. The 97 and earlier 3.5L engines are different too. So I recommend staying between 99 and 01 for a 3.5L. If buying used, If recommend changing the timing belt and water pump before installation. It will be cheap insurance against overheating and a snapped belt later.
