I got this Chrysler LeBaron Coupe from a neighbor of my grandparents. The owner was from Missouri, but moved to Lawrence. He died from going to the convenience store for liquor on his scooter (Supposedly drunk), but got hit by a bus. I got the car for a dollar, because the family just didn't want to have it any longer in their garage (been in there for years and years)

Anyway, We (family and I) think that it's a 1987 Chrysler LeBaron Indianapolis 500 pace car, because it has the emblem of a pace car on the side of it. It's silver with black bottom, shutter sort of lights, and an electronic inside (which talks to you).

I want to know if you can determine the year, and if it could be an authentic 1987 Pace Car Coupe?

P.S: I'll have photos just as soon as I can, which will be tomorrow cause it snowed.

Look at the Vehicle Identification Number, or VIN, the tenth letter is the year. If it is a 1987 the number will be an H. 1988 will be a J. 1989 will be a K.

If you don't have the registration papers, take the ID# from the dash on the drivers side of the dash. It should be a metal tag to your Chrysler or Dodge dealer. The service or parts department will be able to tell you what year it is.
