What writing techniques does J.K. Rowling use?

For my english homework, i have to write an extra Harry Potter chapter, using J .K Rowlings techniques .. e.g short sentences, etc.

Please tell me which techniques she uses! as i have no idea

Just go through the book whilst writing your extra chapter, use almost the same structures as she did, you don't have to be exactly the same so if you have a long sentance you don't NEED to get rid of it because she's used a short one, use her pages as templates :)
