"DWP in 'COHOOTS' with the Halifax Bank in a home mortgage insurance scam", if this were published as a headline, would it grab your attention?
This Bank has sold policies to millions of customers to protect them should they become unemployed YET: they try not to honour the policy for months at a time, they give the customer the chance of losing their home by putting the payments in personal accounts with the option of misappropriating the monies and losing their home, they also make sure the DWP can take all monies into account when the person tries to claim benefits.
I wonder whether there are thousands of customers that actually lost the policy through suffering stress whilst awaiting the bank to honour their claim?
Did you know that they send the policy out to be resigned and if you've ticked the wrong boxes- i.e. been prescribed medication to combat the stress the bank has put you through- they might void the claim- this is exactly what it looks like and suggests to me that such policies are all fraudulent.
What do you think?
