...impact on the whole team. ? if you were the owner/gm of a team what would you do with this player. He is a PG/SG he is not only the best shooter/player on the team he is also the best defender. He comes off the bench and plays plenty of mins (like Manu does for Spurs). Your team plays Golden State/New York Style basketball, (run and gun) style. Your player is the only one playing actually D on the floor when he's with the starters, he gets the blocks, steals, and rebounds most of the time, so after a 119-135 loss, he comes up to you and says "I have enough of this, I don't like being on this team when I'm the only one playing actually D, and not getting the ball at all on offense. The bench when their with me play D, and share the ball, the starting unit doesn't." What would you do? btw this player, had 7 points, (3/4 from the field), 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks, and only 1 turnover. in 24 mins. He also made the starting PG from the other team go 1/13 from the field, forced 2 turnovers, and blocked one of his shots, and he avergaes 15 ppg.

A) Bench the starters, to teach them a lesson.
B) trade him
C) tell him to wait for a while
D) just tell him to accept it
E) whatever you can think of

Well as a Gm, you have to first make a personal connection. Talk to him. Tell him you appreciate his style of play. Then tell him to wait awhile while the coaching staff can make adjustments to a more defensive type game plan. If then your player demands out, trade him for some talent.
