I'm gonna throw out some numbers for my situation (actual bill payments).
1st, let me say that in a few months, my wife will quit her job to go full time into her Dental Hygiene program she's been trying to get in for a couple years now, and she doesn't want to screw it up. So, let's say she doesn't keep her job and doesn't work part time for some type of income. (I hope she keeps some type of income)
2nd, I'm either going to get a 2nd job, or fix something in this list I'm going to give you guys.
Math goers, help me figure this out. ( I have made a decision, but I welcome any other alternatives)
Average Monthly Income = $760-800 / month.
Bill Payments (In order from highest importance to least)
1. House ($200) + Lot Rent ($100) (single-wide on lot) = $300
2. Car ($361) + Car Insurance ($100) = $461
3. Credit Card (1 card) = $70
4. Directv = $55
5. Landline/Internet = $69
6. Cell Phone = $110
------------------------------------
Bill Payment total of = $1065 (minus) $760-$800
Equals = $265 to $305 short of meeting the bill payments.
A. If I take out the luxuries (4, 5, and 6, I still don't have enough to cover everything)
B. Sale my car (2008 Corolla) and just get one that will get me to work and back, plus in-town driving (no long distance driving)
I will say, this was driving me crazy, but things always work out in the end. What would you choose to do?
(I'm sure there are options I have not yet explored, so if you have better ideas, lay them down, much appreciated)
