This is not my situation but I do know that many people face this even more-so in recent times:
Your rent is due, your utilities are due, you have credit cards that are due, your kids need school clothing and your car note is due. The amounts due for each are the following:
Rent: $650
Utilities: $250
Car Note:$300
Car Insurance: $100
CC1: $100 Available Credit: $400 (30 days past due)
CC2: $150 Available Credit: $200 (60 days past due)
CC3: $200 Available credit:$50 (90 days past due)
CC4: $25 Available Credit: $0
CC5: $15 Available Credit: $0
Your income is $1500/ month. You were making $3600/ month and initially had $3000 in savings; however, you were laid off. The EXTENDED warranty on your car ran out and you had serious car trouble costing $2000. You used to spend $300/mo in groceries, now you have decreased that dramatically to $100/mo. The kids (which you have 3) still need clothing for school and you're still looking for a 2nd job. What do you do?
Again, this is not my situation. It is hypothetical off of the top of my head. I just want to see how creative one can get in hard times.
Oooo one more detail I just thought about, you are paid bi-weekly and your rent is due on the 1st and everything else is due between the 15th and the 30th.
