...like their neighborhood/house? I dropped my 8 y old off at her friend's house the other day. The girls go to the same school. I was shocked when I saw in what conditions they live. I don't want my child to play there, but her friend is welcome to come to my house any time. I told my daughter that i don't want her to play over there and that I found this neighborhood no safe at all. Well, my daughter did not think twice - went and told her friend : my mom thinks that your neighborhood is creepy. I feel very bad for my daughter's friend, but I want my child to be safe. Maybe I did not handle the situation tactfully. Plus, that little girl's Mom is always at work and her dad is the only one who is at home. There are also some other people live on the property that I don't even know. How would you handle that situation like that?
