and you started a new subject (just like trivia facts) and they said said what are you doing ..i have better things to do then listen to this, what a stupid idea.

Hmmm would you find that rude and insulting? As well as this person doesn't care to learn anything about life? Would you still talk to them after that? I mean whats the point..
 
I would find that very insulting, and very rude. One of my ex-friends said that something on them lines to me, and my response wasn't pretty. It's like how dare they say that about something your just commenting on or talking about. You should say something to her, and then don't ever talk to her again like me and my ex-friend.
