I sold my 10 year old car today for 1300. I was asking 1500 but he negotiated. We signed a bill of sale, as is, no warranty. Car quit on him in a parking lot on his way home. He thinks its the alternator. I told him there is a fuse that can blow that prevents the alternator from charging the battery and I had just put a new battery on a couple/few days ago. I had no reason to believe alternator might be bad. I went over all the issues involved with the car before he bought it, only a few as the car runs great. Now I feel bad he is having trouble with it. What would you do?
