I call them naive. Olden Dems would include courageous budget balancer Bill Clinton. Those who support Repubs now hate balanced budgets or are naive because we had 6 years of GOP controlled Congress (both houses) and W Bush, and the debt doubled even though Reagan had made sure it was already huge.
