I’m thinking of making a storyline for a computer game where China invades the glorious Mother Russia for Siberia and the boarder areas along with Central Asia and Mongolia to build a communist and resource rich Maoist Empire and where the player has to repel the invasion.
Background:
* The Liberal pro-Western Yabloko party is in power in Russia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yabloko#History
*Great US/EU-Russia relations.
* Russia-Georgia war never happened and Russia was having good relations with US, EU and Georgia (not all Russians wanted the Georgian war).
* Iran government fails and is in a civil war and chaos and has no friends from Russia or USA.
* Russia provided limited support for the Afghan war.
* Communist government in Cuba falls and Chavez never becomes president of Venezuela.
Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Sipan and Midway gets Invaded by China but the storyline only mentions it. I’m thinking of putting it there for a Russian Pacific campaign.
