history, specializing in GLBT history? I am currently going to Texas State University, for an M.A. in History. I plan on going to PhD school at another university, specializing in either the New South or in GLBT history. I understand that the GLBT is a growing field of specialization among historians, whereas historians of the New South are a dime a dozen. I wander if I can easily find employment if I specialize in GLBT history rather than the New South?
