What would the equivalent of ~5 miles of mixed uphill and downhill biking be

(in exercises)? Im 15, have a pretty high metabolism, and bike a LOT (well i consider 5 miles a lot XD) Although it may not be considered much by professional bikers, it is enough to keep me in shape. But winter's coming, and those ~5 miles are usually biked to and from school (~ 2.5 there and ~ 2.5 back). ( 3.3 km there, 3.3 back, 6.6 km total for you metrics out there) I live in Canada, and the winters are pretty harsh here. Usually gets down to less than -15C during January.

P.S. my bike is a mountain trail bike.

So the question is: What would the equivalent of ~5 miles of mixed uphill and downhill biking be in exercises?
On a side note, an odd thing i noticed since i started, is that my upper arms, the biceps and triceps, have been gaining almost as much muscle as my legs. Odd, eh?
