You asked this same exact question 4 times now in one month. Are you obsessed? Do you not know how to look up your own questions through your own profile? Looking for different opinions from other users who haven't read your past posts? I'll put it like this a different way, then........go with what sounds best TO YOU instead of wondering what other individuals over the internet think about your truck that they will never hear anyway. In the end what sounds best to you is all that matters. Your "mechanic" is an idiot for influencing a customer's opinion like that. Like I said in your last post, go to Youtube and type in the search box "FORD TRUCK EXHAUST" and then listen to the different types of exhaust on Ford trucks to make up your mind because there's no one definite answer. NOBODY will KNOW what's best on YOUR truck except you. Make up your mind on the muffler already and start putting money towards some goodies that actually make power so your truck can back up that noise. You're only embarrassing yourself putting a noisy muffler on a truck that can't get out of its own way when you stomp the gas.
