I live in British Columbia. I'm in Grade 10 and currently failing math. Provincial exams are not very far away anymore... In B.C., provincial exams are worth 20% of the total mark.
Here are my questions:
a. If I'm getting 45% class mark in math before the provincial exam, what mark do I need to get on my math provincial exam to pass the course?
b. If I get full mark on the math provincial exam, will my total mark go up by 20% so (45+20=65%)?
Please answer the questions easily so I can understand the math and etc.
