What would make my 2000 dodge durango over heat?
what would make my 2000 dodge durango over heat with a new water pump, clutch fan works, and we took the thermostat out??????

check the radiator on it ,when they get stopped up they will over heat like that and a cooling fan will also make it over heat, the most likely cause though would either be a radiator or water pump or a cooling fan, good luck.

Pulling a steep grade like the Cajon pass or Baker Grade or silver Mountain in Nevada with the a/c on high and going 80 will do it too. Gape Vine and Cabbage patch in Oregeon, and so is Grants pass and and the Catskills in New York and the Smokey Mountains In Va. and the Bristol Valley, and Provo Ut. and Golden Co. and Contintal Divide and the Poconos in Penn , Same as Eerie remember when you burden the motor with additional load you increase demand for cooling, turn off the a/c and be ready to turn on the heater if necessary

just open the radiator up and stick your finger into the water- it will instantly cool off and the engine will be fine!
