D dshedder1 New member Feb 11, 2011 #1 I recently replaced an EGR valve on my 98 Ford Escort and had to remove the vacuum line to the power booster. I replaced the line and now the brake pedal is stiff. Is there something I need to do to make the power assist to start working again?
