Ok, I'm 16 and am about to buy my first car I want to get a 1992 s-10 Chevy blazer but it has 200k+ miles.

Would replacing the engine reset the mileage?
I don't know much about cars, What would I have to replace so that it would be as if it was in new condition?
alright thanks

no replacing the engine will not reset the mileage. just depends on how well it was taken care of as to what needs to be replaced. just make sure it has good tires and a good set of brakes and go from there. try to find out what all maintenance was done to it buy the previous owner. might need a good tune up. i would replace the fuel filter most people over look this even if they have done a tune up on it. good luck,

Keep looking for the vehicle you want, while looking keep saving your money so that you can get one with a lot less miles on it. They Are Out There And Can Be Found! Ask some of your buddies to help out looking, they can help!
