What would have happened if the Muslims found both American Continents?

How would have history changed if it was the Muslims who sailed and found both North and South America? How would they have treated the natives of both continents? Would they wipe them out, or something else?

Be aware, I mentioned 'found' not 'discovered'.
Hmm... Some interesting answers. Answerers need to remember the time difference and not compare it with the present.
 
this is really interesting!
hmmmm... well they'd probly convert the natives to muslims and teach them their knowledge. plus, they'd give the europeans who came a surprise. but i'm not sure whether they would destroy the natives or ally them.
