card company? A cc company solicited my business by mail at my home, so I'm suing them locally.
A service provider did not provide prepaid services, so I received a letter-head receipt for -$2,028 and was told I'd be credited on my card account. A few days later I noted they'd only credited $1,028 of the amount. The service provider lied to the credit card company stating I'd canceled the appointment, which I did not do. I showed up but THEY the provider did not recommend the service themselves stating it would cause major problems if done.
I have to travel by plane to sue the service provider, because they are out of state.
But I believe the letter-head receipt for the full amount should be honored by the credit card company.
Would I win in small claims by showing that?
