What would happen if I bought an unlocked blackberry for Tmobile?

I was looking at blackberrys unlocked on amazon and I noticed many that were very cute, but

if I got it, I know I could use it with my sim card and all, but.. would... like
Some are able to use WiFi,.. and 3G and all. I don't have an internet data plan with Tmobile. But could I still use the WiFi?

Could I still use the blackberry or would Tmobile kick me off the network?
This is so oddly phrased.. I hope someone gets what I mean
