There is no atmosphere on the surface of the moon and so, no pressure.
With no atmospheric pressure, water will not stay at a liquid state. If ice in space is warmed it will sublimate, that is, go directly from a solid to a gaseous state having no liquid form during transition.
The human body is already warm so when exposed to the absence of pressure in space, all the water in your body would begin boiling. As the liquid turns to gas, every cell would rupture from the pressure. I am unsure if you would explode, but your life would end within a second. You would not have time to die by suffocating or freezing.

They would die because they couldn't breath. I think it also might be too cold. Yes, it is because of the atmosphere because there isn't enough oxygen in the air.

they would suffocate and most likely freeze to death it is because of the atmosphere it so weak it cant trap heat in and that's why it so many craters meteors and space debree dosent burn up before it hits land

yeah they would die of asphyxiation. Earths atmosphere contains oxygen that we breathe in but the moon has a very very weak atmosphere so they would not be able to breathe. yeah and on th4e side of the moon not facing the sun it would be extremekly cold because the moon does not have internal heat or the atmosphere to contain heat like eartyh does at night so they would freeze or on the sunlight side of the moon it would be too hot and they would burn/ be subjected to solar radiation that us on earth are protected from.

They would freeze and otherwise be asphyxiated from the lack of any atmosphere. The Moon has no atmosphere, only a few trace gases.
