get hot?....(please read details)? The other day it showed a low oil pressure lights only when I was at idle at a stop light. After I saw the light I noticed that it was getting hotter than normal. Not super hot, about 3 marks above normal.
But, I checked the oil after I let it cool down the same day and it was above the minimum. I had also changed oil and filter about 3 weeks ago. I am probably burning some because it gets low, but it's not dripping on my drive way.
Like I said the temp gauge was going up at the same time, so I turned on the heater full blast and it stopped going up. I then drove it home with any issues, and drove it yesterday without any issues.
I tried to change the thermostat today, but stopped because there were 4 screws holding the housing part and 2 were covered up by the plastic air intake piece....and one of the screws for the air intake wouldn't come out.
So, any ideas on what's going on? Am I going to screw something up by taking the air intake thing off?
