Every now and then I'll get a searingly painful sharp jolt above my left hip (almost my side) and it's painful enough where I can't move. It doesn't last too long but when I move, it keeps giving me a sharp pain. I'm not overly active (or out of shape either) so I don' t know how it could be muscle strain...?
What would cause a sharp pain above the left hip?
