What would cause a 2004 chevy blazer switch sometimes work and sometimes not?

When starting vehicle, sometimes starter stays engaged or vehicle doesnt start at all. Turn off switch and restart and works fine.
 
The answer could be a loose switch. I had an Olds Cutlass SUpreme in the 70's that did that.. I investigated and found nothing. Later a friend looked at it and discovered a loose ground cable to the engine. Further investigation revealed a loose switch Good luck.
