...try, even with a new battery? I can usually get my truck to start after trying 2-3 times. Sometimes it starts on the first try, especially after just running it. It also usually starts better when the outside air is cold, and not as good when warm. I have no problems once the engine is running. Thank you for your time.
 
most likely the emissions system, computer module, or alternator. I have a 2000 dodge ram and know these to be usual problems. most body repair shops will test these for free.
