What would be the standard passenger tires for my 2003 jeep wrangler sport?

Here is the deal, I need something that is passenger and not as expensive as the larger tires. My current tires are shot and unsafe. The budget does not allow too much money to spent on this. Any ideas?

if you look on your driver's door or the door jam it should have a plate with the tire info that the manufacturer recommends. As far as the brand, well that is up to your wallet.

Believe it or not, the standard tire for a Wrangler is a Wrangler.
Too bad about your budget though. Wranglers really aren't very good tires. Something like a Fortera Triple tread would make the Jeep handle all types of roads much better.

If you use passenger car tires for your Jeep you will greatly effect the load carrying capacity of this vehicle.

Even though the suspension is capable of carrying the load your passenger car tires won't be. It would be very easy to exceed the load carrying capacity of the tires. This could cause a blow out and crash.

Try shopping around for a better deal. If they are available in your area try Fleet Farm or other similar place. They will sell off brand tires with the required load tires.

Many times these off brand tires are manufactured by the name brand manufacturers and are every bit as good. You just aren't paying for a name.
